Have you ever wondered?

I was always curious that if Olive Oil (you know the stuff your mom cooks with) is made from Olives than where is Baby Oil made from?

Have you ever wondered?

So I was thinking that it would be fun to throw out a thought to you guys and see what you think about stuff. So what I am going to try and do is on a weekly basis throw out a question and see if you guys have any good answeres for them. The deal is that I will try to each week pick the answer I like best and give a prize to that person. So lets give this a try and you post your answer in the comments area on this webpage.

Have you ever wondered why when you send a package by land it is called a shipment and when you send a package by sea it is called cargo? What do you think?

Hawk Nelson

Hawk Nelson is a pop punk band hailing from Peterborough, Ontario Canada . The band has become popular on the Christian music scene and was voted "Favorite New Artist" by CCM Magazine in their February 2006 Reader's Choice Awards.
The band played independently in New York for a few years before they signed with
Tooth & Nail Records, largely on the recommendation of Trevor McNevan, the lead singer of fellow Tooth & Nail band Thousand Foot Krutch. McNevan, also from New York, is credited with discovering the band. In July of 2004, Hawk Nelson released their major label debut Letters to the President.
The band has achieved some success in the mainstream as well. They portrayed
The Who on an episode of the NBC drama American Dreams, and they recorded a song named "Bring 'Em Out" for the 2005 motion picture Yours, Mine, and Ours. This song was also on a Sunday Night Football comercial. "Things We Go Through" from Letters to the President was also featured in Yours, Mine, and Ours.

Fall Kickoff 2007

Next week is the CW Annual Fall Kickoff!!
This year we are headed to the Blue Water Sports Dome for some food and fun. The best part about this whole event is that its free. Free rollerskating, Free Rock Climbing and Free pizza and pop. The only thing you would need money for is the video games. What do you have to do to be a part of this event? I'm glad you asked... All you need to do is show up with a permission slip at 6:30. We ask that everybody meets there at 6:30 and to be picked up at 8:30. The permission slip should have been brought home by you guys but just in case you didn't get one then we will be sending them to everybody in the mail by next week. If you are really worried about it go ahead and email me and I will make sure you have one (dan@colonialwoodsmc.com).

You don't want to miss this event so BE THERE!!!
