Have you ever wondered?

So many weird thoughts come to my mind through out the day. The other day I got a shirt. The shirt said 100% cotton. Knowing that 100% cotton means that in water, especially warm water, cotton tends to shrinks it lead me to ask a question. If cotton shrinks in water, and cotton is really just sheeps wool, then why don't sheep shrink when it rains? Hmmmmm!

MercyMe

MercyMe is an Grammy Award-nominated and Dove Award winning American contemporary Christian band, originally formed in Greenville, Texas in 1994.
The result of a praise and worship band experience, MercyMe was formed in 1994 by Bart Millard, Jim Bryson, and Mike Scheuchzer. Millard and Bryson met while working on a missions project overseas. The two agreed to start a new band in Oklahoma City with Scheuchzer, whom Millard already knew. It didn't take long for the band to build a solid fan base and they soon found themselves opening up for bands such as Audio Adrenaline.
On November 20 of 2007, MercyMe is expected to release their newest studio project entitled All That Is Within Me[1]. In September of 2007, MercyMe will begin a tour that will feature Shane & Shane, Monk and Neagle, and Aaron Shust.

Have you ever wondered?

As I was sitting around pondering the worlds problem the other day I was wondering if you have ever wondered if one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest drown too?

What do you think will happen? Let me know, remember there could be candy involved for the best answers.

The David Crowder Band

The band began when David Crowder, from Waco, Texas, realized that almost half of the students at Baylor University were not attending church, which he found surprising since it is a Christian university. He and Chris Seay started University Baptist Church in 1995 while he was still a student. Crowder led worship there and continued to do so throughout the year. The church's congregation grew, as did the band's lineup.
Crowder began writing songs to incorporate into the worship times at the church and eventually the church released an independent CD, Pour Over Me, followed by All I Can Say in 1999. These CDs brought the band to a wider audience and invitations to festivals and events followed. The band was signed to sixstepsrecords/Sparrow Records and has released six more albums to date (see discography). The band tours the United States continuously, but make it back to their home church in Waco, Texas, almost every Sunday. Kyle Lake, the former University Baptist Church pastor and longtime friend of the band, has had a strong influence on the band's music in terms of content and inspiration both during his life and after his tragic death.

Have you ever wondered?

So I was thinking that it would be fun to throw out a thought to you guys and see what you think about stuff. So what I am going to try and do is on a weekly basis throw out a question and see if you guys have any good answeres for them. The deal is that I will try to each week pick the answer I like best and give a prize to that person. So lets give this a try and you post your answer in the comments area on this webpage.

Have you ever wondered why when you send a package by land it is called a shipment and when you send a package by sea it is called cargo? What do you think?

Hawk Nelson

Hawk Nelson is a pop punk band hailing from Peterborough, Ontario Canada . The band has become popular on the Christian music scene and was voted "Favorite New Artist" by CCM Magazine in their February 2006 Reader's Choice Awards.
The band played independently in New York for a few years before they signed with
Tooth & Nail Records, largely on the recommendation of Trevor McNevan, the lead singer of fellow Tooth & Nail band Thousand Foot Krutch. McNevan, also from New York, is credited with discovering the band. In July of 2004, Hawk Nelson released their major label debut Letters to the President.
The band has achieved some success in the mainstream as well. They portrayed
The Who on an episode of the NBC drama American Dreams, and they recorded a song named "Bring 'Em Out" for the 2005 motion picture Yours, Mine, and Ours. This song was also on a Sunday Night Football comercial. "Things We Go Through" from Letters to the President was also featured in Yours, Mine, and Ours.

Rush of Fools-Music Bio

Sometimes aspiring Christian artists spend years and years developing their music and building their ministry before God places them on a national platform. Then there are times when God hits the fast forward button and a new act seems to emerge almost overnight. Rush Of Fools is definitely on the divine fast track.
In an amazingly short period of time, the Birmingham-based band went from winning a national talent contest to landing a record deal with Midas Records, a management deal with industry veteran Andrew Patton’s Patton House Entertainment, and a booking agreement with the Greg Oliver Agency. This spring the band will embark on the World on Fire Tour with By the Tree and The Turning.
The first single, “Undo,” is a compelling ballad that paints a portrait of God’s mercy and grace. Willis possesses a warm, evocative voice that draws the listener into the songs, and many will find themselves in the poignant lyric. “We see what kids are wanting and we know what they yearn for, and it’s still the same thing we yearn for,” says Willis. “A lot of the inspiration for our songs comes from talking with people and feeling the same things.I think everyone can connect to our music in some way.”

You can learn more about Rush of Fools, who is currently at number 1 on all the Christian Charts at http://rushoffools.com/index.html

New Spiderman Movie

So what did you guys think of the new Spiderman movie?

In all honesty I can say that I was to impressed. And I think is being very nice. I mean 3 villians is way to much. And did anybody else feel that Peter Parker was the wimpiest and cheesiet man alive when he is dancing in the streets. I would have to say on a 5 star scale I would have to give this show 2 stars.
